FILES AND DIRECTORIES This is not a comprehensive list of all of the files and directories that are part of Stat Watch, but the list should be detailed enough to give a general idea of what most things do. DIRECTORIES /usr/local/stat_watch - - This is the default installation directory. If Stat Watch has been installed elsewhere, assume that path in place of '/usr/local/stat_watch' for all of the below entires /usr/local/stat_watch/includes - - This contains files with separate functions that are part fo the Stat Watch wrapper script /usr/local/stat_watch/info - - This contains additional information regarding or related to Stat Watch /usr/local/stat_watch/scripts - - This contains helper scripts or modules that Stat Watch uses to provide additional functionality /usr/local/stat_watch/.stat_watch - - This is where Stat Watch stores its working files - Note that the files within this directory are not designed to be edited by the user /usr/local/stat_watch/tests - - Tests to confirm the functionality of Stat Watch - Learn more about these by running 'stat_watch --help tests' /usr/local/stat_watch/texts - - Information such as help documentation, version information, etc. FILES /usr/local/stat_watch/README.md - - A markdown file providing a general overview of the project /usr/local/stat_watch/stat_watch.conf - - Allows the user to set various default values for Stat Watch /usr/local/stat_watch/stat_watch.pl - - This script contains all of the core functionality of Stat Watch /usr/local/stat_watch/stat_watch_wrap.sh - - A wrapper script for stat_watch.pl, just because some functionality is easier to do in bash /usr/local/stat_watch/tests/test.sh - - A script that automates running tests to verify the functionality of Stat Watch /usr/local/stat_watch/.stat_watch/assumptions - - A file containing a list of all of the assumptions created with the "--assume" flag /usr/local/stat_watch/.stat_watch/backup_locations - - A file containing a list of all the directories that stat_watch.pl has seen designated as backup locations /usr/local/stat_watch/.stat_watch/conf - - A file containing the configuration values in a format that's easier for the script to read /usr/local/stat_watch/.stat_watch/perl_modules - - The presence of this file indicates that we have tested for all of the necessary perl modules and do not need to test again /usr/local/stat_watch/.stat_watch/wrap_jobs_created - - A file that stores a list of jobs that were created using "--create" /usr/local/stat_watch/info/expectations.md - - A markdown file with examples of verbiage to use when Stat Watch has been set up to send emails to customer-facing addresses /usr/local/stat_watch/texts/template.conf - - A template file for the configuration, from which a new configuration file can be built
